Acid Ursodeoxycholic 300 mg
Excipients:
Starch, Lactose, Plasdone polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP K-30), Sodium starch glycollate, Sodium lauryl sulphate, Pregelatinised starch, Magnesium stearate, Croscarmellose sodium, Crospovidone, Aerosil 200, Instacoat IC-S-6098 (Brown), Isopropyl alcohol, Dichloromethane.

Treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis and erosion (small) of cholesterol-rich (radioactive) gallstones of small to moderate size in patients with remaining gallbladder function.

Amount use
Adults and the elderly: 10 - 15 mg of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA)/kg/day in 2-4 divided doses. Children: The dose should be divided according to weight.
Contraindications:
Patient has: - Non-radioactive calcified gallstones. - Acute inflammation of the gallbladder or bile ducts. Obstruction of the bile ducts (obstruction of the common bile duct or a cystic duct). - Frequent biliary colic. - Reduces contraction of the gallbladder. - Hypersensitivity to bile acids or any of the excipients. - Pregnant or lactating women, or in women of childbearing potential. - Chronic liver disease, peptic ulcer disease or people with inflammation of the small intestine and large intestine. Child Patients: Portoenterostomy fails or fails to restore good bile flow in children with biliary atresia.
